I just wanted to let everyone know that last night Rufus MacFusty was attacked by Fenrir Greyback. I'm not going to say he's alright, because... he was attacked by a werewolf, but he's alive.

Greyback has not only publicly admitted it, but also threatened a number of people. Of course, nothing will be done about it because the Ministry is too busy participating in an international conspiracy to actually do its job.

Today was a very good day. The weather was amazing and I was able to take beautiful pictures, they worked out exactly how I'd wanted them to! How often does that happen? I mean, I suppose if you're a professional, it happens more often than not, but that doesn't mean I have to stop being pleased when it does!

Lee's coming over on Saturday to take some pictures with me so if you see a naked bloke running around the garden that's why.

I don't much like winter. It's pretty and I do love snow, but you can't swim or surf and you actually have to wear clothes! At least we've still got some warm days left before the cold hits.

The house is quiet now that it's just Ruf and I again, now that Vi and Lizzie have left. It was nice having them around, but I think I like it being just me and Ruf. We don't have to put on any airs when it's just us. It's definitely nice having visitors though, Tamsin, when are you coming by!

Rufus! I'm so proud of you! I know I always say that, every time you get an article published, but I always am proud. In other news, it's so hot that I almost don't want to leave the house to go down to the creek or the beach. I know it'll be worth it, once I get in the water but just opening the door to that solid wall of heat and humidity is DAUNTING.

In other OTHER news, I did my toenails in teal and now I can't stop looking at them. I keep getting distracted when I walk and almost walking into walls! So clearly, I said to myself, the only solution to this quandary is to not walk.

And then I got hungry.
